hello terry

Indie Biz ownerClaire Shepherd

Hi, I’m Claire, I’m a maker, Mum and Art teacher and a total colour lover! I make playful yet grown-up contemporary jewellery from my home studio in Brighton. I love creating easy to wear everyday pieces from polymer clay using simple shapes which feature abstract splashes of pattern and colour. The collection includes statement necklaces, dangle earrings, studs, rings and brooches inspired by modern art and colours and textures from my local seaside surroundings.

Each piece is unique due to the handmade nature and I pride myself on the finish and quality, I aim for a flat smooth aesthetic with modern clean lines- I strive for a factory finish but with nods to the fact that each and every component has been lovingly hand crafted one by one on my kitchen table!

Do you want a fun fact? - Well, The name of my brand ‘Hello Terry’ comes from a real life talking raven called terry who lives in a nature park in Crawley! He Says "hello Terry" in an alarmingly deep voice!!! I chose the business name after a sleepless night trying the think of a name and it just felt right at the time.
