I believe everyone is happier after getting creative so I started Lilla as an outlet to design things that inspire you to put pen to paper to make beautiful and unique keepsakes that embrace your individuality, however much time you have.
It all started when I made my sister a Bullet Journal in 2017 to help during a particularly tough period with her mental health. Each page was designed to focus on those things that made her happy, and promote positive self-care whilst giving her an excuse to get out her art supplies again. Her friends started asking for one for themselves so I made the designs digital and after lots of tweaking and testing self published my first 50 copies.
I now create pre-made undated Bullet Journals designed to be coloured in and made your own, filled with illustrated pages to record your year as well as calendars to keep track of your appointments and activities.
I have also created an inclusive Baby Memory Book, designed to work for as many family set ups as possible, with prompts to record those small unusual memories as well as all the classic facts and figures. There is no mention of Mum, Dad or pregnancy throughout the book so you can interpret the prompts in a way that works for your family - without having to leave any blank space.
All my hand-lettering and illustrations are created with love and care in my home studio in the seaside town of Falmouth in Cornwall.
Originally an architect I have an obsession for detail so ensure all my books are manufactured to last and are hand finished with that extra special personal touch!
