I am a potter living in Norfolk. I specialise in throwing tableware like plates, bowls and lots and lots of mugs. I love to facet the surface of my pottery to play with light and shade when they move in the light. If I am not facetting the surface, I tend to splash and drip colour over it instead. My colours are normally quite muted and matt for people who love simple, contemporary pottery. I am also venturing into rainbow splashes to brighten things up. I make personalised mugs with my own lettering that I paint on so each one is unique. I love to bring a bit of joy with my mugs!
My pots all go in the dishwasher and oven. I am trying to look after the environment by powering my kiln and potter's wheel with renewable energy.
