Here, in the Spinning Tales Fiber house, we believe:
*that ethically sourced, sustainably produced, equitably accessible yarn and spinning fiber in colors that remind you of your favorite fictional stories is the way to change the world (or maybe just your world)
*candy eaten in twos is good luck
*the feminist, craftivist, rebellious history of fiber craft deserves it's place front-and-center in the crafting spotlight
*coffee should be light, tea should be dark, and toast should be just a little burned on the edges
*there is no such thing as a 'bad' binge-able TV show
*the place where creativity and capitalism meet is the part of the map we're always drafting and re-drafting
*you deserve to own things you've made over time, in colors that bring you deep joy, remembering stories that made you think, laugh, cry, and feel connected
*$20 should go further than it does in the craft world, and indie business owners deserve to pay themselves an equitable living wage; it's the system that's busted
*THAT WHEN IN DOUBT, RAINBOW IT OUT
*Black lives matter, trans lives matter, missing and murdered Indigenous women matter, that queer rights are human rights, and that equity will always feel like scarcity to those who have the most
*in yarn. That's it. We believe in yarn, for better or worse, 'til death do us part, forever and ever amen
