Greetings from TINY SCENIC town!
I'm Jo Strange, and along with my husband Andrew we make miniature-model houses, swimming pools, retro eateries and more - and turn them into jewellery :)
Our aim is to develop a whole miniature town of handcrafted items you'll want to collect for yourself, or as a special treat for a friend who appreciates retro modern style.
We design and make our items from our home in Winchester in Hampshire, using a mix of hand-cut and laser-cut wood, acrylic and gorgeous 1950s-style laminate. Tiny details are super important to us, as is achieving a beautiful quality and finish to all of the pieces in our collection.
Our inspiration comes from the road trips we've taken in the USA, as well as the classic (and sometimes kitschy) qualities of Midcentury Modern design. We get excited by old, beautiful signage, novelty architecture and consider a day trip to a model village a day well spent!
As well as selling our jewellery online we occasionally take part in contemporary art shows - selling Tiny Scenic wall pieces and one-of-a-kind miniatures. We also take on commissions.
