Yarnworthy

Indie Biz ownerEmma

Hello, I'm Emma, a lover of jewel tones and the dyer behind Yarnworthy. I am passionate about natural yarns and strive to create unique colourways that complement the fibre and inspire and enhance your creative projects!

Based in Shropshire, UK (shipping Worldwide), I aim to promote sustainability, inclusivity, quality and act ethically. My yarn supplier is located very close to me and I use a small family-run dye supplier based in the UK, that manufacture on site. I use recycled/recyclable/biodegradable packaging, food grade citric acid and non-toxic dyes. I also re-use as much water as possible, I only use natural fibres and use leftover dye stocks to create one-of-a-kind Happy Accident colourways.

My yarns range widely, from a luxuriously fluffy (minus the itch!) Mulberry Silk and Baby Suri Alpaca laceweight to a super-soft and springy, high twist 100% Merino worsted. 90%+ of my colourways are repeatable and can be found in the Dyed to Order section of my website. Fancy receiving a mysterious 100g skein, mini skein set or both? My quarterly Mystery Club may be just what you're looking for! I also have Advent Calendars, Pick 'n' Mix mini skeins and more!

I am an avid lover of all things yarn and fibre related and if I'm not dyeing, you can usually find me with one (or many) knitting projects about my person!
